In my colored pencil drawings, I explore plant life, animals and colonies of living things in playful, whimsical imaginary worlds. Sometimes, I’m looking to dress up shapes in costumes. Often, these drawings become the inspiration for my sculptures. I’m a free form illustrator and am attracted to imagery that’s flat and saturated with color -- layer upon layer.
